To my knowledge there two accepted types of eagle used on the ?MuK 5? Ground Combat Badge. After a good look, and based on the pictures supplied, I?d say your badge has one of them.

So?.IMO, an original badge, Vince.

Congrats on such a pristine piece Vince! As said earlier, this and the Flak badge are the only two bona fide LW Combat badges. This is actually my favorite LW badge!
