Dave B Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Hello all,Anyone have any opinions on this 3/4 size 1813 EK2? It obviously wasn't made in 1813 but it still has a stepped core, anyone have a guess at it's time of manufacture? Also I have been told that there are convincing repros of the 1813 Prinzen size EK2's floating about, how does this one look??It measures 32mmx32mmAny info would be greatly appreciated.Dave[attachmentid=10412][attachmentid=10414]Ribbon measures 22mm in width.[attachmentid=10416]
Dave B Posted September 11, 2005 Author Posted September 11, 2005 Scanned next to a standard 1914 EK2 for size comparison.[attachmentid=10418]

Dave B Posted September 11, 2005 Author Posted September 11, 2005 Thanks Ed.Does your cross have a stepped core?Dave
Ed_Haynes Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Will have to dig it out and check . . . .
Biro Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Will have to dig it out and check . . . .←EdGREAT looking bar !... it dosen't appear to be a stepped core from this enlargement. The oakleaves in particular look wonderfully 'fluid'....It would be great to get a nice clear shot of the Obverse and Reverse from you when you get the chance. There are many prinzen 1813 ek2's floating around dealers at the moment.. this would help us all immeasurably.regardsMarshall
