gregM
Here is the backside. No makers marks. It does have the anti-spin pin andthe disc does not have the dimple we used to see on the early fakes.
gregM
This is the first of this style of cross for me and I was somewhat surprised at how light weight it was. I am guessing this is because the frame is some sortof cheap TR alloy. Definately a different quality when compared to anImperial Godet or Wagner ect. Thanks for looking,Greg Edited December 7, 2007 by gregM

gregM
This cross has been identified as B.H. Mayer cross. Pin backversions of this cross can be seen with the "26" stamp on it.There is a very distintive die flaw on these that are common to alloriginal Mayer crosses of this style.-----if anyone cares

Motorhead
Shame on me-the 3rd Reich imperial EKs are the only one I don't collect......it could be because my mentor never did! So the only thing I can say -yes,it's a good one(from my limited knowledge of these) ! Micha
gregM
Steve and Micha --Thank you When I originally posted this cross I was not just fishing for a compliment. I actually needed some help. I needed to find out if it was fake or not and weatheror not to send it back. Good thing I posted it elsewhere. buellmeister
greg, Stunning condition! That has just made it's place to the forfront of your collection I'm sure.. Though, I havent acquired a TR manufactured Imperial yet, I must say that they do add that "modern" spin to an old classic...Regards,Joel Edited December 12, 2007 by buellmeister
