Scott Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I thought the pilot wings had the propeller, and pilot/observer had the propeller and the star, which would lead me to believe observer wings has the star only, no?Scott
greg koepp Posted December 9, 2007 Author Posted December 9, 2007 OH ya I think your right! I was wondering why it had just a star too??anyone know what these sell for?? just for my records..thanks greg
juvatwad Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 (edited) The wings are neither pilot, pilot/observer, nor obsever. I don't know what they are, though.http://www.ww2wings.com/main.shtml Edited December 10, 2007 by juvatwad

The other items seem to be genuine AFAIKIMHO there are no connections between those items... just a "made up" "veteran group". Edited December 15, 2007 by Panzerpionier
greg koepp Posted December 15, 2007 Author Posted December 15, 2007 Thanks, but the yoke-arrows Pin I have photos in one of my books of the same, the Eagle on it I have no problems with as I have shown to a couple Spanish collectors who said it was ok. But the cross on the ribbon, I don't know yet, but will send photos to more Spanish collectors to see. The cross itself is made correct, but for what I don't know yet??thanks for the info.greg

I disagree.
greg koepp Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 I didn't say anything about the wings??I said the Arrow with eagle, is in books showing they made these in medal, and the cross with ribbon is the other item I talked about, nothing about the wings tho?thanks and please re-readgreg
juvatwad Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 No, No. I was refering to Panzerpionier stating the website referencing WW 2 era wings was "crap" with respect to its Spanish section. The wings shown on that site are spot on.
Panzerpionier Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 (edited) So, you say the Spanish section of the website I referenced shows inaccurate WWII era wings? I disagree.Wings are OK. Texts are wrong. Edited December 16, 2007 by Panzerpionier
