gary9 Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 The next one is for a schutzpolizei doctors jacket for an officer which is also taylor made and named to a doctor who was also a member of the Algemein SS before adorning the police uniform. This is a very nice officers jacket with toxic green piping through out but with the addition of dark blue collar patches for a doctor
gary9 Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 Close up of the collar with the dark blue patches in bright silver wire.

gary9 Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 (edited) Here is a nice M43 jacket to a Oberst of the schutzpolizei. This one is a other ranks type jacket with added officers collar patches nicely machine sewn with no other evidence of any other collar patches being there before, and a nice bullion arm eagle. With the addition of slip on schoulder baords. Belt ramp holes in teh front, Nice scalloped breast pockets which where changed to straight edge sometime during the war. This is a nice officers jacket probably made for in the field use. Edited December 16, 2007 by gary9

gary9 Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 Other ranks schutzpolice jacket for the district of Berlin, the man that wore this jacket was also qualified as a horse rider, and with the addition of the traditions badge of the Cross of the South. Very hard jacket to find with the horse badge and the cross of the south badge

gary9 Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 Bullion riders badge that is very thick in construction, this badge has toned down with age to a dull finish with oxidation
gary9 Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 Cross of the south in BeVo style weave, done in silver wire for the white parts, very neetly done
