Bill Garvy Posted December 28, 2007 Author Posted December 28, 2007 Order Book. . .This one may have been awarded to a civilian, so it make take longer to research, if anything is found at all. . .
Paul R Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 I have a similar grouping(book with only Order of Lenin listed). I am certain that mine is a civilian as well. It is a real shame that these are not researchable!
Guest Rick Research Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Yup-- the 1949 Badge of Honour suggest that this was a civil servant's long service group. So far, the only group for which regulations have been published are railways personnel, so I'm not sure if teachers, post office workers, etc etc etc ALSO had a military style chain of awards for years of long service.
