BURGERHAUS Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Pete Thank you for taking the time to post your nice tinnies. My scanner is so slow that I would have taken days to do that many. I show now a curious one. I would say a Winter Releif pin. I post the reverse also because of the marking. I beleive the attaching pin is a replacement though. This was the first of these that I had seen. Robert
--dj--Joe Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 (edited) Wood, impressive as always! I will be absorbing all those tinnies for days to come. I also wish to add my appreciation for all the effort required in preparing and posting all these fine items!Robert, the pin appears good in my opinion for the reverse of the NSV ceramic donation piece.--dj--Joe Edited December 19, 2006 by --dj--Joe

AlecH Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hi Wood, Any further information on this lace & metal NSV - I've have one, looking at it - large - made combination woven lace & metal - must have needed care to produce, but for what. Regards
Wood Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 Other than a donation badge, no. Manufacturing would have been quite easy, as the woven lace would have been machine made. All that was required was nimble fingers for the assembly.
JNoble Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hi Wood, I wonder how many got by their quality control insp. with the tatting installed backwards facing like the one you have.
Wood Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 All right, nimble fingers, not so nimble a brain. Like me, as I have never noticed it!! Pete
AlecH Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hi J.Noble, By Gad sir , what sharp eyes you have. I've just looked at mine, its the reverse - don't know which is correct. Here is mine.
JNoble Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Here is the one I have I don't know who added the red felt backing as it was there when I got it.
Kleinepanzerfaust Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Hi ! I was going to write this earlier, but now I'm catching up. 1. Everything I add to the database belongs to my collection. 2. I usually receive photos of items from the sellers I purchased them from. I have received consent to use them. Reason ? I'm a bad photographer. If I do not receive permission to use the photos, I will take them myself. 3.I will try to add things that are not in the database. Regards! p.s. only " ges. gesch. manufacturer ? NSV / WHW 1936- 1937
