Citation text=

"Sr. Sergeant BOIKII participated as a member of 14th Sappers Brigade, 56th Battalion, in the past defense of Kharkov and received a light wound in October 1941.

Second time wounded--severe- during service with the 95th Rifles Regiment, 30th Army, on 14.8.42 in attacking near the village of Zakharovo, (ILLEGIBLE) Raion.

Third time severely wounded as well--on 19.2.44 attack during service with 1192nd Rifles Rgt, 257th Rifles Division, 4th Shock Army, near the city of Polotsk as observer (ILLEGIBLE) for 'IP.' ((I don't know what 'IP' abbreviates))

Comr. Boikii, during time of service with the 145th Reserve Rifles Regiment, has shown himself to be a disciplined(ILLEGIBLE), accurate in fulfilment oif orders from higher commanders. Exacting with himself and subordinates. Makes/avails himself (ILLEGIBLE) lower ranks and NCOs.

Deserves to be decorated with the state award
