BURGERHAUS Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Nice Pete. That KdF Gau Essen would look nice hanging on my Christmas tree. Robert PS Did you happen to take a look at my enamel Sangergau Kurhessen on another thread? Would you consider that a tinnie? It is so well made. I wouldn't think the expense would merit manufacture although you really never know. Will post more soon. Here is the Sangergau[attachmentid=42394][attachmentid=42395]
Wood Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Nice badge Robert, I would still call it a tinnie, but perhaps they were made for someone higher up.This is the standard type"100 Jahrfeier 1839 1939 Sangergau Kurhessen
Wood Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 (edited) Sangerfest, same date as the other type, but oval. Edited January 3, 2007 by wood
BURGERHAUS Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 This one is more meeting my fancy. Although hard to see, it is marked B. H. Mayer Pforzeim. Volsmusiktag Boden See Radolfzell 1938. Quite a nicely designed tinnie if I do say so myself. Cheers
Scowen Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Nice music tinnie you found there Robert. It may interest you to know that the symbol on it is for the Reichsverband f?r Volksmusik, here's their membership badge.CheersDon
Claymore Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Nice to see the 'Volksmusik' tinnie matched up with the membership badge.....
Scowen Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 All music related tinnies have been transferred over from the general database
