Motorhead Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 Well,I know there's not much interest in 1914 EKs,but I got this nice EKs in today....first is a nice "FR"-I bought it as an upgrade to mine, but it seems to be that I was to stupid to look right(I thought my 1st one wasn't stamped clear). So now I have 2 of this not so common makers with a good visible maker mark ...And Nr.2 is a"regular" "WS",stamped in a box.Until today(I havent had one of this before) I had the opinion, both types of "WS" are from the same maker-just with different pins and maker marks......But now I had to find out they have nothing in common! Different cores, frames, pins, maker marks.......Micha"FR" Obverse
Gordon Williamson Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 Well,I know there's not much interest in 1914 EKs,......... No way ! They are far more beautiful than 3rd Reich EKs. If you want to sell your "duplicate" Fr just let me know .
Motorhead Posted October 1, 2005 Author Posted October 1, 2005 FR....not Fr,Gordon But yes,I prefer the imperial EKs,too!Micha
