Tony
Hello Morton, All great finds. Do you know if the propeller was found recently, if it was kept as a souvenir by someone since 1944 and the type of aeroplane it comes from? I've only been to Norway once and unfortunately didn't see anything of WWII interest, well, I didn't really have the time anyway. Tony

Mervyn Mitton
Morten - all very interesting finds - and nice that you have some history for them. The old compass has some varied naming. The dial clearly shows the maker's name and Antwerp - so it was bought-in for the body of the compass - which was made in Glasgow - however, the word Cambridge seems to be at odds with this. Through the accumulated verdigris - is it Cambridge Road or, Street ?

christerd
Hallo Morten, There is a street named Cambridge Street in Glasgow and the manafacturer of the Compass should be Kelvin, Bottomley & Baird 1913-1941 based in Glasgow at the time Exellent find !
