Green case

This is being sold as original on some site(can't remember which) and I just can't concur! But lord knows im wrong more than I am right!

now I will hazzard so far as to say this is a good example of a fake

Don't think the case original, but usefull to keep safe your cross if you have no original case. such a case cost around 25-30?.

That is a fake case without a doubt.

Definately a bogus case..... nicely done, but brand-spanking new. But, as previously stated, great to keep a loose Spanish Cross in Silver in!

Here is a green case which I think is a copy. I need your opinion.

the case is a little bit larger than the original (2-3mm)

the dark green color is convincing

the hinge isn't magnetic

the interior shows a bad light color for the glue remains. the protection is too red.

the lid cardboard is thick and flat instead of slightly convex and thin

The first one Sal shows is fake as Rick says, this second one, Jacques can you lift up the material on the base catch to confirm my thoughts please.

(in my opinion it's fake, a built up base, there are some good Luft ones of these about too, they have the oblate rounded head on the catch, more commonly you find the one like Sal shows, pointed or the 'apex' head. Bring it along to Stuttgart Jacques I'd like to ponder over this example in hand if I may)

Jacques.... I do not think your case was made before 1995........

You have the correct blue ones (no markings) right?? Green is almost the same. I have never liked these with the LDO on the lids. Yes, I do believe there are some authentic, period pieces...... but the bulk of what's on the market is bogus.
