Guest Rick Research Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Carrying milk from the center of town to save gas, that's where.Captain of Med/Svc Grigory Sergeevich Khlogkovsky, attested as him 15.8.58 by commander of Military Unit 24443, Lt. Col Med/Svc P. Sidorov. This is a very very interesting photo. Taken in '58, so assuming ONE of his Red Stars was a 15 years service award and ONE of his MMMs was for 10 years... that still leaves him with an OPW, TWO "real" Red Stars and a "real" MMM... and yet after 16-19 years of service, he was still only a Captain! He had to have had an amazing war record. Very very strange!
Riley1965 Posted May 29, 2008 Author Posted May 29, 2008 Thank You for the information!!! It makes me wonder about what happened during his service. It must have been interesting.Best,Doc
