Yes, looks like G Wolff to me to, after "Hofoperns?ngerie-Baroken Abend Friedrichs.... 18.7.17

Looks like the two loose medals are both Arts & Sciences, then his medal bar is Merit Cross of the Saxe-Ernestine House Order, Carl Eduard Medal, 1899 Wedding Jubilee, and Bulgarian Civil Merit Order-Knight.

Maybe. "Ladies' Night Out" doesn't seem to fit with HIM though.

May have sung nice, but handwriting... :speechless1:

Hmmmm, maybe the chicken scratch I'm trying to force into being Baroque is a weird first name and "Abend" is not literally eveniung, but the Lady Opera Singer's last name in this fan-autograph photo.....

Also, I think the "Friedrich...." is a location along with the date and not a person's name. What do you think?

    Chip

You are right: Friedrichroda is a small town in Thuringia.

    Regards, Komtur.
