    here's an untypical example of a K.A.G stamped EK. The 3nd core type with an unusual type of pin.Opinions?

    K.A.G. used several types of hinges and pins. also the catch placement varies. sometimes it's lower down on the arm of the cross.

    the hinge system on this one is also found on crosses made by Friedlander.

    the shape of the pin on this one seems odd to me (i don't mean that in a negative sense).

    I know only 2 types of cores.The pin here is a bit strange,but I've got a "wide crown" type with the same pin in my collection.Erics statement about the hardware position is correct,it looks like they had no fix rules where to put the catch.

    Edit: I'm wrong-this is core type Nr.3!!!!!!!!!! It's not the "round one" as I thought at the first view........
