Can anyone tell me about this Thai medal?

It doesn't appear in my book, which dates from 1990, so I'm guessing it could be a Jubilee medal for the King (50 years?).

Through research I believe the offical title of this medal is: "Commemorative Medal on the Occasion of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Reign"
