Deruelle Posted July 27, 2008 Author Posted July 27, 2008 Another photo of Schroeder with unknow (for the moment) officer.Christophe
Guest Rick Research Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 Christophe-- that is later General der Infanterie Albrecht Schubert (1886-1966)--Knight's Cross and German Cross in Gold.George Peterson in Virginia sold all of Schroeder's award documents and commissions back in the late 1970s, but had no photos. Evil Ricky had SOME of Schroeder's papers a couple of years back and may have scans of them still.Schroeder (1880-1953) was later a Luftwaffe Generalmajor (E).
Ulsterman Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 You bought these for your wife?! The woman is obviously a treasure.

saschaw Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Hmm, that's a relly nice photo - but what he's wearing between the Z?hringer L?we and the Austrian MVK3KD? There is something, isn't it?
Deruelle Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 Hi SaschawIt's the Brunswick merit medal 2nd class (BrK2).RegardsChristophe
saschaw Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) This here must be Schubert's ribbon bar - right? Non-machting device on BZ3bXE ribbon, no device at all on SV3aX ribbon, and order screwed up a bit again... Edited April 2, 2010 by saschaw
