i am considering posting one of these items for trade. before i do so, i wish to be fully certain that they are correct.

well, since these items have been viewed by 27 people and nobody can offer an opinion, i guess i won't be putting one of them up for trade.

i don't know that i'd jump so fast...

these are often close calls.

they look great to me, but I DON'T KNOW

cuff titles too well....

paddy keating may have some thoughts,

or other cuff fans.

Alot of people hesitate on these since the fakes are so good and most of us know so little about these titles (plus they are fairly expensive). As has been mentioned Paddy is probably a good choice to look at these. I would also recommend Eric Queen and Willi Zahn, who are members of another forum which you are also a member of.

hope all is well with you. thanks for reminding me about these!

i'm pretty much a 'non active' member on that forum these days. i popped in the other day to look around and touch bases, but discovered that my mailbox may be disabled and cannot post images. perhaps the fact that i stopped dabbling in militaria for over three years may have had something to do with this... ;-)

most of the 'old crowd' from that site seem to maintain a presence on this forum in one fashion or another, and i like it here: it's quite congenial and the breadth of knowledge is simply amazing.

anyhow, back to the subject of this thread: i've already shown these years ago, but the pics were even worse than the ones above.

how can that be possible? heh...

i'm sorry, but imo these type of ct's is not pre 45 made. Even this type is shown in books. This type comes usually in nco and officer versions. (Please note my thread about these(explained on a officer example) in the WAF (same user), FJ section)

Sorry guys. I only just saw this thread. I concur with heinrich66. The FJR1 cuff title is trying to be like this original example. The FJR2 version is clearly from the same source. Close...but no banana.
