Flak88
I am working on a book with a U-Boat vet and survivor. Two UK vessels sunk his boat, but 19 men got off and were rescued by the UK vessels. We want to see if we can find any survivors of the UK vessels to add to the book. Any idea if there are any vet associations or other way to get such info? The two were: HMS Imperialist and HMS Douglasplease e-mail me at: marc@garlasco.comMany thanks! John
Hi Marc, Have you tried the Royal British Legion? They would be a good place to start, and should have info on various Naval Associations. Regards, John

DonC
Ah, the good old days... When you could christen a ship "HMS Imperialist" and not have to fight off all the rabid PC freaks... Don
