Christian Zulus Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Nevsky T 2 - s/n. 4556Gentlemen,as already mentioned at my other Nevsky-thread http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?s=&showtop...st&p=248720 , that's my Nevsky T 2 in good condition.I bought this item for EUR 250,- in Vienna in the year 1994. O.K., now a type 2 Nevsky is a bit more expensive .... .The condition is good, the s/n. is rather low and there is enough gold plating on it, but there is a minor failure inside the enamel on the 7-o'clock-ray of the red star, as you can make out. More photographs will follow .Best regards Christian
Christian Zulus Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 Redone s/n. by the mintGentlemen,it seems to me, that the orginal s/n. had been (carefully) scratched out by the mint and a new s/n. had been engraved. Due to the patina and the professional work, it had do be done during WWII. What's your opinon about it ?Many thanks for your expertise .Best regards ChristianAnother pic in the following post!
