CRBeery
As most of you know I love medal bars. I often find them with no medals or missing medals and I try to reconstruct them. No big upgrades - just putting history back as it should be. It gives me a sense of fullfilment to restore a piece of history. I found one that has a ribbon (the second one) I have not seen before. I posted it on the other forum and someone provided a link to ribbons that showed it as a Prussian Honor medal. Does anyone have any examples of what the medal looks like. If you want me to I can go and find the link to ribbon page as I may have the name wrong but it was along those lines. Also, do you think there should be a little birdie on the first ribbon? Bob Hunter
...as in Adler der Inhaber for the first one or did you have something else in mind?
Stogieman
Could also be a Hohenzollern medal in first place.
CRBeery
I was think along that line Bob. Someone who did some military time and then maybe a teacher or some other position. The mounting style to me is later. I have a WW2 bar mounted the same way. It has to be my least favorite style.Rick, which medal would you think goes there? Anyone have the second one somewhere. This bar has been on the back burner for about year now as I do not have a clue on #2. I keep thinking one will pop on Ebay or a dealer but none yet.
