    A Kaiserschutztruppen Sergeant im Afrika @ 1912 ?

    Recommended Posts

a close up of the bar and stripes: I think I see the Prussian honor medal on war ribbon, a crown order medal, a China medal, a SW Africa medal and a LS medal.

Daniel, perchance any idea who he might be?

    I'd say 1913/14:

    MEZ2

LD2 (so he was a RESERVIST)

    ?Colonial 2 bars

    ?SWA multi bars...

    rest obscured

Long service awards came before campaigns until 1935, and from the size, it can only be an LD2.

    No name?

    At first it?s a Vizefeldwebel (3 chevrons)!

No way to identify him. For GSWA were approx. 2805 MEZII awarded.

The 3rd one could be the colonial or china medal. Unfortunately has the pic a bad quality. But I would prefer a china-medal (due of the 2 battle clasps).

    All the best
