Sivart Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 My first tinnie. Unsure where to post this as I do not know what it relates to. Maker is Deschler, marked on the reverse. I assume it to be common, but I didn't find it in the threads I looked in. Sivart
speedytop Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Hi sivart,it is not a tinnie, it is a membership badge.NS.-Kriegsopferversorgung NSKOVPlease see here:http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/NS-Kriegsopferversorgunghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NSKOVRegardsUwe

After a quick look, I was able to find one or two more of these badges online, but neither were marked on the reverse like this one is. Are these items often faked? I will post an image of the reverse in hopes that it might be possible to determine if it is a fake. I got this item for really cheap, so I wouldn't be surprised to find that it is a copy.Sivart
