Gold and silver (Wehrmacht 12) makes no sense here. That's a navy bar for Venezuela, and anyone in then (1902) would have come out with an XXV. Can't turn up anyone with the combination of officer awards--all naval Hohenxzollern winners are known.

I suspect Little Monkey Fingers rather than moths have been up to something there.
