Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

On 22.7.44 during the forced crossing of the Western Bug River, he was the first to rush into the village of Yablochnoe and by his personal bravery seized an enemy trenchline. In hand-to-hand combat he killed (5 German soldiers and captured 2 machineguns.
