How about either a Hauptmann or Major Paul Erich/ Erich SCHNEIDEWIND, field artillery-- he was Hauptmann 27.01,18 but Major (E) with seniority 01.04.36 #9 which makes me wonder what rank/seniority he had in 1935?

there are actually two listed in the index-both Hauptmanns in the artillery (heft IV: pgs. 14 & 34).

Hptm. A.R. 16: 1 Abt., Art. Rgt. 52, 1.5.31 (2) / 1 (pg.14-I think this is your man)

and

Hptm. A. R. 56: III Abt. , Art. Rgt.22 (A.R.6), 1.4.34 (60) / 8 (pg. 34)
