I just got a new piece of research today, thanks to a fellow forum member I have roughly translated it with the assistance of a friend. If anyone can provide further info, it would be much appreciated

Citation

The general gist is the following (I think):

Danilov led his machine gun platoon to destroy more than a _____ (?) of the enemy. They destroyed 5 firing positions, 2 ______ (? some sort of armored vehicle), and captured 500 enemy soldiers. Danilov also protected his column from attacking Me 110's by setting up suppressing fire.

He was a Senior Leitenant (3 stars)-- "Starshy Leitenant." Can't figure out what SORT of Machine Gun Platoon he commanded. Citation is "company of infantry of the enemy...."

With my vision I need daylight to do this.
