Werkschutz sleeve patch

Hello,

This werkschutz sleeve patch was amongst a group of British items that I picked up at the weekend.

As I know nothing about German cloth patches I would be grateful if someone could let me know if this is a good one please?

Hi, I have never seen one made up so sloppy . It could be an ORs with cord to enhance to officer level but is does not look up to standard you normally find these

I have never seen one this badly executed either. Oddly enough, the materials do look to be period... Perhaps a local contract/tailor maker?

One good thing is that it doesn't glow under UV light.

I dont think that I would toss it. It will have a significantly lower monetary value to collectors, but I THINK that it could be OK. I would have to hold it for me to determine with more certainty either way.

Has anyone else seen any known repro insignia(from any organization) made up in this manner?

This is an officers werkschutz insignia, noting wrong with it at all, just worn is all, I would love to have it in my collection
