Glenn J Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 ChristerThis from the 1934 edition of "Das neue Sachsen"RegardsGlenn
Ulsterman Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 "Das Neue Sachsen"!!?? ...another resource to try and borrow via ILL.Glenn. Have you seen the 1935 Fuhrerlexicon? Is it worth chasing down at all?
Guest Rick Research Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Always better to post a scan of the scribble itself than ask to match something unseen. Sometimes even that won't help but The Real Thing is always a good idea.
christerd Posted March 19, 2009 Author Posted March 19, 2009 :cheeky: Thanks , I will scan it when I return to home base and see if you can translate it, probably a lower clerk signed it in the name of the president . Christer
Glenn J Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Jeff,Have you seen the 1935 Fuhrerlexicon? Is it worth chasing down at allI have a photocopy of about a quarter of it which I did a couple of years ago. I will post a couple of scans this evening. You can make up your own mind.RegardsGlenn
Guest Rick Research Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 :Cat-Scratch: Wow! That's an odd assortment of "Who's Who" types more than simply the Party hacks I would have expected! When one has come up for sale, it's been for so many hundreds of DMs/Eurines hat I never paid any attention to it. Looks like some solid useful data in there for our usual interest in unexpected characters.
christerd Posted March 19, 2009 Author Posted March 19, 2009 And here is the document ! Can anyone read that signature ? Best Regards Christer
Guest Rick Research Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Ha! Signed in place of the PolPr?s by a "Dr. Weber." :catjava:
christerd Posted March 19, 2009 Author Posted March 19, 2009 Ha! Signed in place of the PolPr?s by a "Dr. Weber." Aha ! Thanks Rick, now I only have to find a "who is who in Nazi Germany 1935" to find out who this Dr Weber was Christer
Ulsterman Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Thanks Glenn:I saw the book ("The Nazi Elite") , which is a statistical analysis of early NSDAP membership based on 10% of the bios in the book. I'd like to get a copy. It seems to have everything but medal awards.
