What rank did he attain?Notice the officer in the center in the front row of the top photograph? He is a Musikmeister. These men wore special insignia(although cannot be seen too well in the photograph. Attached, I have posted a photograph of a Musikmeister shoulderboard from the 4th Flak Reg band.
