Paul R Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 This is truely exciting!!! What else can you tell me about your grandfather's time in service? What rank did he attain?Notice the officer in the center in the front row of the top photograph? He is a Musikmeister. These men wore special insignia(although cannot be seen too well in the photograph. Attached, I have posted a photograph of a Musikmeister shoulderboard from the 4th Flak Reg band. There were not too many of these men.I have done a thread on the Luftwaffe Muskikorps, if you wish to take a look.http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=17408I look forward to hearing more about your grandfather. In the photos, which one is your grandfather?RegardsPaul
