Naxos Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 (edited) Hi, please see attached scan, I am trying to find out what the 201 Infantry regiment of the 67 Division were doing in March 1940 as i don't think there was much campaigning going on. Can anyone shed any light on this, any info would be appreicated, cheers, rickYour document is not original. The 67. Infanterie-Division did not exist in the Wehrmacht, neither did exist a Infanterie-Rergiment 201. There was a Feldrekruten-Infanterie-Regiment 201 but it was created in June 1940 and not attached to the imaginary 67. ID.http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Gliede...ungFeldrekr.htmThe date is wrong - German dates are never written in this wayStamp is fake as wellSorry Edited May 3, 2009 by Naxos
Elvis Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Hi raverick,I am sorry to tell you that it seems to be a fake-document.The germans normal write:Berlin, den 12. M?rz 1940I also think that the stamping is bad. You cannot check the inside.Sorry, its a fake!RegardsElvis
