Valgor Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 It is an original Fll, second type pin-catch arrangement.I do not know the gentlemen you refer to, and i can only judge it by this picture, imperfect as it may be. This being said, i must say it looks very much like its down to the bear zink. Also there is a hint of bronze in some of the leaf.I would have to check my files, but i'm quite sure, for a silver one, the needle would not be bronze.The FLL is especially known for not retaining its finish by the way.My (identical) FLL CCC or (nks) is posted here a number of weeks ago. I can ussure you it is not a silver one. Compare the color of yours with mine. In my eyes they are identical. Again, only you have it in hand, not me.
