Silver WB 107 - Variation?

Has anyone seen a Silver WB maker 107 with this reverse setup? I will later post a picture of the "normal" reverse setup of these type (Kai Winkler site), then a side by side comparison. Looks period to me ... I've just never seen that small a plate under the hinge.

Yep ... one with a cast-in hinge and catch, one like the silver you have in the above pictures.

ahh ok ... I have never really studied the black ones that close. I'm sure I have, but have never really taken much notice.
