Is the color seen on the screen perfectly accurate?

I'd say no, for one reason-- the embroidered wreath with metal cockade and eagle is classic pre-war insignia, whereas TSD was only created in 1944. I'd expect either all embroidered insignia that late, or all metal.

The blue does look lighter than medical and certainly darker than transport/supply, and much bluer than Sonderf?hrer blue-gray.

As I am not a hat expert could they owner have transfered it from a HV green hat to the TSD blue when he went over to the TSD?

Hello -

I am pretty certain this is Medical - cornflower blue. The Dragonerblau for TSD is pretty distinctive, while medical shades are somewhat all over the map. Beautiful cap, nonetheless.
