107 Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I have recently bought these two iron crosses, but both are unmarked. Can someone identify these and tell who the makers are? Thanks in advance.
Motorhead Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 (edited) The first class is an "boxed" WS!Micha Edited May 31, 2009 by Motorhead
107 Posted May 31, 2009 Author Posted May 31, 2009 WS = Wagner & Sohn, Berlin? And what do you mean with "boxed"? I am new to WW1 medals, so forgive me.
Motorhead Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 There are 2 different "WS" variations-have a look at the picture I have posted. You can see the "WS" is in a kind of "box",the letters are a relief.Hiere is the other variation-the "WS" is just stamped in.Micha
107 Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 I need more coffee. How can I forget to post a picture of that. Anyway, here it is.
Kriztofer Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Thanks 107. To me it looks like the maker Z (Zeich) from the acorns anyway.
