i read "GV 11" as the maker mark, is that right? Any idea, who that is?

this is LV rather than GV.

they can be found with a variety

of 2 digit numbers following, but

i am not aware of a GV MM.

this one is beautiful, and also interesting

because the ribbon is actually placed to

show the reverse rather than the obverse.

not sure why...

maybe someone else can address this.
