Ferdinand Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 It was manufactured in 1974 by the Leningrad Mint.
Guest Rick Research Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 But AWARDED when? Unlike the Badges of Honour-- which crossed the million number... I've never seen a Red Banner of Labour with an Orders Book that had a serial number this high. 1990?
Ferdinand Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Here are a couple of booklets with high S/N ORBLs:
Guest Rick Research Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 :Cat-Scratch: YIKES!!!! I have never seen one numbered higher than 7XX,XXX! Had NO idea they actually outstripped theBadges of Honour in the final years!
Ferdinand Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 By 1995, there were 1,224,590 RBLs awarded, againt 1,580,850 Badges of Honor. The highest numbered RBL, however, was 1,292,559 (produced, but not awarded).
