Just thought i would share,as you rarely see a real one these days,they are usually solid rubbish. Well this was aquired from an old Veteran fifteen years ago who picked it up during WW2.

Always thought it was beautifully constructed.

Not that I'm an expert by any means but I never even knew these existed. Perhaps I need to get out of "India" more often. Thanks for sharing what must be a very rare item.

That is a very nice badge and quite hard to find. I really enjoy seeing Imperial aviation items.

Here's another example, this one by Eduard, or at least from one of his shops. The 56 proof mark didn't scan very well but it is pretty clear under a 10x glass.
