Not sure if any Imperial era ones still exist.

Great book to read up on the fates of the bulk of the Imperial Uboats is Verschollen by Dwight Messimer. Interesting read.

    Cheers,

Thanks for your information, the museum looks like a good place to start trying to find the information i am looking for, i am specifically trying to find any information, pictures or diagrams etc of the conning tower engine telegraph and the rudder position indicator fitted to UCII type vessels, both the machines are made by Siemens, would you or anybody else be able to draft me an email in German asking for any information to send to the museum? sadly i speak no German.

    many thanks.

    Colin.

    Hello Colin,

its nice to find somebody who is interested

    in german imperial uboats.

I looked for photos in my little collection

but I dont have what you need. Maybe Im wrong

but I thing the guys in Munich cant help.

I can sent a mail to the u-bootarchive or FTU and ask

if they had some photos from the conning tower

    e.g. UC21(Type UC II).

    Best regards
