Theodor Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Hi guys, can you please tell me about this one, good or fake?
Theodor Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Thanks Eric! Spotted it on a local auction, but probably more than a few have spotted it too, so not sure if will manage to get it!
saschaw Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Theodor, this is not just a good one, it's a lovely one! I recently bought a very similar one, same maker, same variation, same great condition. As these were worn in field, maybe the wearer(s) was (were) killed in action very soon after he (they) received it. garfordhouse, the cross you show is a WW1 era or slightly younger wearers' copy. Great quality, at least if they are in nicer condition, with a blued core. Maker is probably C. F. Zimmermann from Pforzheim. A forum search on Latvian fake should bring some of them up for a compare.
erickn Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Hello Theodor, Two very desireable EK's indeed. The "WS" w/ the early case is a gem, however the 930 presents a character of it own. Nice catch. Kind regards, E.
