    That looks like the fuze from a British 12 or 15lb shrapnel round,i will get more details later as all my files are at work.These were used in quantity during the south african wars and into early WW1.Replaced by the 13 and 18lber they were then mainly used for training in the uk

    Hello sorry been a while getting back to this.Anyway it looks like a british No60 fuze these were introduced to service in 1901 and obsolete in 1921.These were used on the 15lber ,having read my papers they did get sent to france but did not see action.hope this helps you...allan
