Chris Boonzaier Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 For USD140... I want 2! Just finishing an article for the website about a group of 18 young Boers capturing 50 men of the KFS. One cheeky lad asked them "what is the "F" for on your badge?" The Prisonner answered "Kitchener's Fighting Scouts" and the lad said "But... why didnt you guys fight then?" :speechless:
nedkelly1973 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Many thanks Mike! Collar or cap badge? Its pretty small? Any idea of value - not that I'm selling!? Mike Hi Mike, I also like this badge-this paticular type is different to all the others sheet brass cut outs to the KFS as it has been stamped first (notice top half of F and where tails join the K and S). I agree with QSA mike on price. I now have 6 different slouch hat examples to this unit.It took me 4 years to find them and I never paid over US150 the last one I bought in the last 6 months. they do get listed on dealers sites for up to double that you have a nice badge Cheers Glenn.
