John5813 Posted September 16, 2010 Author Posted September 16, 2010 Saschaw, Many thanks for the information. If possible, could you please provide award dates for the following: GFM Gebhard Blucher Friedrich Graf Kleist von Nollendorff Albert Kronprinz von Sachsen Also, does your source include all recipients of the BV1? Thanks in the advance. John
saschaw Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Also, does your source include all recipients of the BV1? It does, while it lists all receipients of the order and medal - by name, no matter when or what was awarded. All classes of crosses and medals mixed, from Napoleonic times up to 1918. Without names, you would have to check whole the book. GFM Gebhard Blücher: 1814 without date Friedrich Graf Kleist von Nollendorff: 30.08.1819 Albert Kronprinz von Sachsen: cannot find him
John5813 Posted September 18, 2010 Author Posted September 18, 2010 Saschaw, Thank you again for the award dates. Unfortunate that the book does not list by grade. Here are a few more that I am interested in. I'm not sure if they received the BV1 or not. KARL Friedrich Gustav Wilhelm Maximillian von Baden Gustav Friedrich von Beyer Johann Baptist Lingg von Linggenfeld Heinrich von Porbeck Ludwig WILHELM August von Baden Friedrich Karl von Tettenborn Thanks again. John
saschaw Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 KARL Friedrich Gustav Wilhelm Maximillian von Baden - think I don't have this one Gustav Friedrich von Beyer - BV2a on 26.12.1870but probably not as a Christmas gift Johann Baptist Lingg von Linggenfeld - BV3(!) 19.12.1807 and BV2 05.09.1809. No BV1 either. Heinrich von Porbeck - BV2 on 22.09.1807 Ludwig WILHELM August von Baden - 04.04.1807 Friedrich Karl von Tettenborn - BV2(!!!) in 1815. Don't have him for BV1. If you have e.g. a cross, don't hestitate to show...
John5813 Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 All, Here are a few more. Hope someone can help. Yermolov, Aleksei Petrovich Volkonsky (Wolkonski), Petr Dovre, Fydor F All were Russian from the Napoleonic era. John

John5813 Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Saschaw, Thanks for the reply. Dovre might be found as Graf D'Auvray or something like that. He was in Russian service during the Napoleonic Wars. Hope you are able to find him. John
