franco prussian medal bar

would it be possible to research this medal bar? whoever the owner was i was told that he died before 1897 because there was not centennial medal on the bar or at least it is quite possible that he died before 1897

Depends on what you understand with "research". I think anything one can research from it is known...

Finding the wearer is not possible unless a combination is unique - from this combination, some thousand exist.
