perce Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Hi Guys Just picked these up and wondering what era unit etc are they. Are they ok or made up? Cheers Perce
Naxos Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 They seem all original WWII era Left to right: Hauptmann Luftwaffe (flying), Oberleutnant Artillerie, Oberleutnant Luftwaffe Nachrichten (Airforce Signals)
perce Posted February 3, 2011 Author Posted February 3, 2011 Hi Thanks for that- how do you differentiate Luftwaffe shoulser straps from Heer? Doesn't really matter as I only paid £6:90 for all three Cheers Perce
Naxos Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Hi Thanks for that- how do you differentiate Luftwaffe shoulser straps from Heer? Cheers Perce Good question. Well - you can't. However, the shiny boards are more likely to be worn by the Luftwaffe than the Heer.
Paul R Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Luftwaffe were not "issued" the matte corded shoulder boards. They have been seen on original tunics, but they are the exception.
