bmsm Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Is this cufftitle a good one or a fake? Thanks in advance. Bob
bmsm Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 I would say it's a good one. John, Thank you for your reply. This is one of the reasons I decided to get out of collecting German items with so much reproduction out there. Some of the reproduced items is getting so good that someone just starting out can really get took. Bob

Tim B Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Looks like an original "tan" version. As William stated, the tans versions were not issued but are real. The "olive" CT's are the versions we see actually being worn during wartime. Looks nice and I have a similar one as well, congrats! Tim
Phil Steele Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I agree its looks good to me but very pristine....has been stored well
Tim B Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 These are usually in great shape as most were not actually worn (perhaps only 2%) on the uniforms. Here's another "tan" and as you can see, mint unissued. Tim
pikestaff Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Just thought I would add this scan of reproduction insignia, give collectors an idea of what is out there these days.
