    Thank you for your reply. This is one of the reasons I decided to get out of collecting German items with so much reproduction out there. Some of the reproduced items is getting so good that someone just starting out can really get took.

    My vote is good too, but unissued, which is actually the more common way to find these.

    Looks like an original "tan" version. As William stated, the tans versions were not issued but are real. The "olive" CT's are the versions we see actually being worn during wartime.

    Looks nice and I have a similar one as well, congrats! :cheers:

    These are usually in great shape as most were not actually worn (perhaps only 2%) on the uniforms. Here's another "tan" and as you can see, mint unissued.
