tsarenko1975 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 This rare trousers were finded in Lwow by one of my ukrainian colleagues. In old military atelier were are soviet khaki general trousers - it made for legendary general Vasiliy Petrov (2xHSU, lost both hands, but served until his death in 2003). Name of Petrov seen on the label. We can't know, why general don't take this subject, but trosers naturally made for him: Petrov was tall but very thin man.
TacHel Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Now if only your friend could find the owner of the tunics! What do you think he will do with trousers?
tsarenko1975 Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 Very interesting is little size of this subject: 34/36 in UK/US system, 44/46 in EU classification. Thin general was unusual in Soviet Army. I think, it's really Petrov's trousers. Now my Lwow's colleague is hunting for tunic from this Petrov's set.
