PKeating Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 The scan doesn't do the condition of the frosting and polishing on this piece justice. As is so often the case with these early bars, two of the prongs are missing. However, never having done any research into 3rd Reich Iron Cross Bars, can anyone give me an idea of who might have made this? Godet? Juncker? TIA PK
Jim R Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 PK, there are four diiferent prong types that Boerger used - four prongs one each corner, four prong center (two top, two bottom), four prongs (round prongs instead of flat), two prongs center. Jim

Jim And fpr the most part very fragile and prone to snapping off. I cannot actually remember seeing one of these with all its prongs intact. PK
