Romania Romania - Grand Cross Star of Romania Order

I was given the following description for this order:

Romania Kingdom - Order of the Romanian Star, Grand Cross, sash badge, 1st type. With Sash, hallmarked on the ring.

Size - 75x125mm

I don't have experience in handling this award, please provide your opinions.

I have two main questions:

1) Does the reverse suppose to look like this? I don't see blue enamel on the arms of the cross - it this normal?

2) Is sash ribbon original?

I find it very strange that there is no blue enamel to the rear of this piece,

especially as the wreath is coloured, and the background behind the Kings Cypher.

The other lower classes have the cross in blue on both sides of the piece

Yes, that's the same cross. I too find it strange that it has no blue enamel on reverse. It's one thing if enamel is damaged, but here it is missing completely.

Looks taht the seller decided to get rid of the remainings of the enamel instead of repair the damaged areas. Anyway the jewel (cross) was/is original, just damaged.
